I ,too, insist that the right eartip is a MUST. I have 10+ IEMs lying around including TF10 and none of them requires this specific right fit, not only size-wise but the angle and the depth of insertion. You push it too far in and then it's muddy. Too loose tips or comply then bass is gone. Even with the perfectly fit provided pair once you release the hand pressure or move your month (like yawning) the sound changes. Now Im using spinfit , tho not feeling a 100% satisfied with the outcome and believe it could be better giving the Prime8 's potential its better than the bunch so far.

Interesting. I also am having issues with the RIGHT ear dealie, and, in my case, the cable does not stay clipped into the IEM, VERY wonky.
Kind of a bummer, as I do like the sound...and I'm more of a cans fan!

And the cable broke down after few used, just as promised! No matter how I like the sound this issue that they claimed that was fixed in latest batch was NOT.

The Mee Pi Pinnacle cable is a better cable, fits these IEMs...yet they too pop off the right side rather persistently. Which makes me believe that it's the IEM itself.
Glad I didn't pay full MSRP on them. Would love it if these didn't have this problem, as I really want to give them a fair listen to the SOUND. But not if I have to keep fiddling them and not if I have to lay absolutely still with the thing ductaped to my ear.
