Does anyone have experience using this in an attempt to improve the sound from external computer speakers?

dhaug89Years ago (before my audiophillia really kicked in) I had a 17" HP laptop connected to some Logitech Z-2300 speakers. I always thought the speakers sounded great, but then I purchased my first external DAC; a uDAC3. I never realized how much crap (electronic noise) that computer was introducing into its crappy DAC. I was blown away by how much better those Z-2300's sounded. My newer laptops don't suffer from the same audio noise problems as the old HP, but if you suspect that there is electronic noise in your audio stream you may want to give an external DAC a try. The uDACs are great little external DACs, and after over 5 or 6 years my uDAC3 is still going strong.
