I own one and my experience with them is mixed but favourable. I'll list a few notes below.
  • The build is extremely good, but they are fairly heavy so if you drop them on hard surfaces there may be cosmetic damage (I believe this applies to most headphones anyway).
  • They are most comfortable when you are sitting down or not moving much, ie. walking with them will feel irritating after a while.
  • I found that the best way to get the right sound out of them was to create the profile in a dead silent room, it made the bass less muddy/boomy, and enabled me to slide "Immersion Mode" further to the right. (Immersion Mode is the slider in the Nuraphone app which controls the bass drivers' intensity)
  • The detail on this set is really good, I found texture in the mid and high notes on some music I hadn't heard in the other sets that I owned at that time (I had the HD650, DT 770 80ohms, B&O H6 among many others) .
  • The bass is better if you don't add too much or too less immersion, I had to find the right amount to be satisfied with them, although sometimes cranking up the bass on specific songs is fun.
  • The sound is best when using APTX HD or LL, using cables with these wasn't great in my opinion.
  • Using USB cable kept your sound profile but disabled the buttons on the headphones, making them semi-analog.
  • Using the 3.5mm cable into an amplifier made it fully analog but turned off your sound profile. This means that the headphones will not use your customised profile and Immersion Mode will be turned off when using this cable.
  • Battery life is really good, can last weeks with normal use (ie. commuting), if you listened to it all day intermittently it would last you a few days at least.

Please note I did this many months ago so if any firmware updates changed something my information may be out of date. I honestly think that these are best suited primarily for commuters. It could also be good for people who want to enjoy music wirelessly at home or in an office, using their phones or DAPs with bluetooth, I will not recommend this unless you have the option for sending it back in case you don't like them, since I do respect the opinions of others and I take note of people who did not have a positive experience with them. For me, however, I use a Sony MDR-Z1R primarily when I am at home, but I use these for travelling. Hope this helped.
