Hey everyone, Jeffersons are hitting the post office today! That means that USA buyers should see them before Christmas!
Thanks for all your support and Merry Christmas!

This is nothing. You should checkout Billetspin.com. Some of them go for $300+. And they sell hundreds of them in different designs. Just as folks collects knives and pens they will never use, others collect and resell heirloom quality tops. There are al kinds of nostalgic and investment interests in this world.

To each their own man. Discussion pages on massdrop are to discuss the products, not the buyers. Am I supposed to have your permission to enjoy my collection that cost me over $2k? I've spent far more money, more regrettably on computers, cars, and motorcycles. These tops and spinners bring joy to me every single day.
Today, May 29, was the estimated ship date for this drop, but I haven't received notice that it shipped. The last two drops I purchased were received and in my hands over a week before the estimated ship date, so maybe I've been spoiled by that.
Any idea if the tops will be shipping soon?
SoridiusNever mind. I received the email notice that it shipped about three hours after I posted the previous message.
The email showed up at 11:33 pm, with 27 minutes left on the estimated ship date. That's cutting it close!
Why are they so small? I thought these (and other tops on MD) were pretty cool but then I noticed they are smaller than they look in the photos. These tops specifically, at .75 inches, are shorter than a quarter. Is there a reason they are so small? Because I'd imagine the material or weight (which other tops on MD seem to make a big deal out of) won't really make a difference at three-fourths of an inch tall.
Do any of these top manufacturers makes tops that are 2.5 to 3 inches tall?
Thank you and that's a nice collection.
That's kind of disappointing. I'd honestly still prefer paying for a larger top made with a decent-quality metal over a tiny amount of high-quality metal. I mean, if its a desk ornament, I'm not worried about 1/3rd of a pound of weight or fitting it into my pocket. I understand this particular top is meant to be more of an EDC item.
But do you know of any tops in the market that are larger?
ugh. sure, there's the occasional "tear down", but this ain't it. You do know that, whatever the point may be that I'm trying to make, you're making it for me, right?
Shipment to Germany is 3$ more expensive than from nwtops.com. I'm not very impressed with massdrop here. I own the Columbia in both copper and tungsten (+32 minutes) and do recommend nwtops.
I'm interested in getting one of these, but I'm concerned about the packaging. NZ has pretty strict biosecurity at the border, and I'm doubtful that an item packaged in wood shavings would be allowed in. Has NW successfully sent anything to NZ before?
StitchpunkNZYes we have! We send in a cardboard box and the fill is card stock paper. Have not had a problem yet 👍
If you need custom packaging in bubble wrap we can accomidate that too 👍
...Or Jen and I might have to hand deliver....
