NXEars Opera and Sonata IEMs

On a mission to bring balanced, expansive soundstaging to the world of earphones, NXEars has created an IEM line that removes occlusion from the ear and to let the audio breathe for the first time.  Available here are two models—the Opera and the Sonata—that feature innovative Aperiodic Ground Loading technology to reduce pressure and unnatural resonance. The Opera is a bass-friendly pair with eight total Knowles balanced armature drivers (two each for the three segments of the spectrum) and a fast-and-tight low end. The Sonata features a single balanced armature tuned for near perfect midrange frequencies where vocals live—ideal for spoken word, podcasts, and pop music. Both show off a sleek, classic design (though the Opera is a bit fancier with a speckled, spacey color scheme), and both come from NXEars’ award-winning line of high-end IEMs.  High-quality original factory cables that feature mono-crystal 6-N copper are included for the Opera and Silver-plated OFC for the Sonata.
