For everyone having problems with QMK:
First of all I got a PCB that looked like a KBD75rev2. It has a physical Resetbutton on the under site and an USB-C port instead of the advertised mini USB port.
I got into DFU mode with space+b while plugging it in. QMK Toolbox then recognized the board with the 'atmega32u4' microcontroller. As a basis and a first flash I used the Alu84 profile, which worked like a charm. After that I was able to simply modify the Alu84 layout to my wishes in the QMK Configurator and then flash the new .hex onto the board.
There you go you can now use your custom QMK layout with the board as advertised.
Requirement for this to work pbviously is that you received the same PCB I did.
Have fun changing your layout HF
The Alu84 and the KBD75 are actually identical boards in terms of the switch matrix. You'll be able to flash one layout over the other. I should actually file a bug to get rid of the Alu84 and just add it as a note in the KBD75.
