I bought this board like 2 years ago. The USB broke off at some point so I shoved it in the closet. I want to fix the USB but I can't figure out how to get the board out of the heavy single piece aluminum.
Anyone know how to get these separated w/o damaging either of them?

the keyboard still lights up but all the keys stopped working randomly,
anybody have a fix for this?

Again with the no hotswap. Akko 1800 high profile version has sold every time in all the colors. The recent 100 batches sold out in a couple of hours.
You have to make a high profile 1800 layout HS.

Is this current offering pre-assembled or a kit? I see comments indicating both and I'm not sure which.

OcenExactly. Even the description describes both scenarios but the product you're adding to your cart has NO indication. WTF. I'm super interested in assembled but I don't know what I'm buying here.

Why no kit/bare bones version. We are keyboard enthusiasts here. We want our own custom layout/caps/switches.

SpencerLHey Spencer - Any news on this? I have seen it pop up a few times in the last few months but (much like this one) doesn't have the color options (interested in black). Also, I feel like there was a bit of a price jump on this...strange.
Also - is there any chance we might see the Melody96 show up anytime? I've been eyeballing one of theses with the brass plate but keep hoping it might show up here. Big fan of the layout but like the full size '0' key on the numpad which makes something like the 'Drop Shift' style not really equivalent.

I'll tell you that: give me this layout with low profile switches (like Keychron K3 has with its optical ones) and I'll buy it right away. :P

Description mentions a kit but that's not an option. Ideally, I'd love to see this in a hotswap version.

CajualnessYMDK does make a hotswap pcb for this case. I don't know why massdrop hasn't offered them as an an option. But you can get one for around $50 on ali express or ebay.

Is there a barebones kit available somewhere? I don't want to spend 2x the money if I'm gonna desolder and chuck the switches and caps anyways.
