Picked this up the first time this dropped(like two years ago now) and I've basically only worn them since. Took them up and down 50 miles of switchbacks when I first got them and they still work great.
The only issues with these boots are A) The natural leather means NATURAL not the color in the picture, its shit shoot if you'll get that color. I ended up with a dustier brown. B) If you get leather soles the front half of your boot doesn't have alot of friction on slippery surfaces. Granted I haven't slipped yet but that's probably because I'm careful to use the heel for friction when I know something will be slippery.
As for the ware, I haven't really gotten any scratches in the front but several in the heel side so if you don't like the look of a toe cap skip it. The seams all are fine, just keep dirt out of them and they won't loosen. The only thing that needs fixing is the rubber heal sole after about another year of wear. Also the laces will break very fast so grab a spool of leather lace(preferably craft lace since whatever you treat your boots with will dye the lace anyway and actual leather lace isn't as tough, quite expensive, and will turn round after awhile)
