* What are the + / - of the leather vs. dainite sole
* What is "top lift"
* Does one or the other affect the ability / ease of re-soling
* Anything else worth mentioning

So in my research while finding out more about these boots here's what I've learnt:
Leather vs Dainite sole: Leather is more breathable//Dainite provides more traction & lasts a bit longer before you need to resole.
Toplift - refers to the bottom lay of the heel, so the heel of these boots will either be Vibram or Dainite depending on what sole you choose.
Resoling is affected by the welt of the boots; in this case the boot itself is a goodyear welt and can indeed be resoled.
