Very tall human being here who always struggles (to put it lightly) to find shoes that are in my size, so my heart kind of leaped when I heard "made to order". But the issue I have is that I'm in Vermont, so there's no where near here that I could go to to try some on to get a feeling for what size to order. Can anyone help me? Size 15 wide. I would really like to order a pair of these to have something that'll last me forever, but I just don't want to risk 300$ on something I can't return.

xpertrPsalmIf you're a true size 15 (checked on the Brannock device), the size 15 should fit you just fine as these are TTS (true-to-size).
Now the question here comes down to your width -- 15 wide can mean many things to many people -- the best way to make sure is to have someone at a shoe store (or with a Brannock device at home) to check for you.
These boots are a standard D width with some give within reason (CXL tends to stretch quite a bit for a lot of folks).
We are final sale, so there's that, but if you can get a better understanding of your true size then you'll be able to make a more informed decision.
