The leather is nice and thick, so much so that it was difficult to fit my foot in when I first got them. But after loosening the laces and flexing the leather my foot squeezed in and the fit is heavenly.
They are very comfortable and the quality is undeniable. I got the black plain-toe with the dainite sole and they look great. The contrast between the tan and the black is clean as hell.
I haven't put much mileage on them yet, but my first impressions are excellent.
The stock photo(s) that Oak Street provides for their black boots DON'T DO THEM JUSTICE. Their stock photo just doesn't look good, and if I hadn't stumbled across these photos https://imgur.com/a/PgToA#0 I never would have gotten the black.
