Danielle, I have e-mailed your support about getting a wide size and they told me to post here. You told me to e-mail support again and I have not yet received a response. I backed the order, hoping to get a wide size because I know the company does make wide sizes. It's not on their website, since you have to make a custom order.
If I cannot get a wide size, may I cancel my order? These are final sale and I want them to fit perfectly. If not, I would not like to purchase the boots.

phi.tranSorry for the confusion! Just got confirmation from Oak Street Bootmakers and the Trench Boot is only available in width D. Please email support@massdrop.com if you want to be taken off the drop.
I will try to bring you more wide width options in the future. :)

DanielleHi Danielle, is it possible for you to enquire about the Dainite sole option with Captoe? Thanks

houstonwkvSure!
OSB is not going to run every pair from their line, but if you all make a poll and vote on your favorite style we can definitely talk to them about another drop.
Let me know!

DanielleIn my mind the biggest reason to ask for an extra sole option for this drop is that it would be confusing to creat poll for exactly this drop plus one more sole option. I don't think there are enough people who exclusively want this boot with that sole to warrant its own drop. I hope that makes sense.

houstonwkvThis makes sense. It's tricky because our model is to make things as easy as possible for the manufacturer (OSB). Part of why they're willing to list the product on Massdrop is that they don't have to deal with 40+ individual order payments, and 40+ individual orders. Ideally we just say "40 pairs of boots" (obviously in this case we need to specify sizes). They ship them all to one address, and send one invoice. When we start adding customization options, it starts to become more onerous on the supplier which, although they (vendors in general) want to be flexible, after the fact they start to have regrets and we've had some say "If I want to handle 40 specific custom orders, they should just order on the website and pay me the full price". - I'm by no means saying this is what OSB thinks, just what our experience has shown to occasionally be a problem in the past.
Being made aware of everyone's individual demand via comments (and polls) is helpful, and we'll know with subsequent drops to talk to OSB and clarify exactly how many options, styles, colors, they want to offer. We'll work it out with them up-front before the drop is listed.
Also note, one person saying "can I have this option", is definitely not a good reason for us to add the option and add the complication for the vendor (and our fulfillment). Many people commenting "can I have this option" is a good reason to add it, but then it spams the comments thread, so, it's a double edged sword! Arguably, if there's enough demand to warrant making it an option, there's enough demand for it to have a poll :)
TLDR; In this specific case, we won't be adding the extra sole option, but we'll look into adding more customization features for OSB products in the future. Thanks for indicating your interest in the Danite soles!

DanielleHi Danielle, I just ordered the trench boot from Oak Street Boot maker. This is my first purchase on MassDrop. My question is how would I return the boot for any reason such as fit, color etc. Is a return possible or is it a one off? what are my options?
