OK, I'm sold! One last question... I'm not a fan of dainite, too much snow and ice and wet in Michigan. Would you just get leather and try to find a shop to add a thin commando type sole, or is there any better way to do that?
Thanks much!

awoodbyI honestly wish that I would have avoided the danite sole. I thought I would love it for it's weather resistance, but i've worn the boot for a year now, and it really hasnt broken in much, and it's VERY stiff. I think that is partially due to the rubber sole, and it's lack of flexibility. I have some wolverine 1ks in leather, and boy those are mUCh more comfortable. Also, the toe box is a little more narrow, and one of my feet pinch. I wish they came in a "wider" version. I wear 7.5E in AE strands, 7.5 in Wolverine 1k, and I got 7.5 in these. however, the quality on these boots are supurb. super thick CXL leather, and high quality soles.
