I had wanted half jackets for a long time. I love how lenses can bd switched in and out, so when I bought these at such a great price I really felt like I was investing in the frames. The frames turned out to be great as did the lenses that came with it. I still have not switched out the frames but it's good to know I can do so in the future. For the price I paid, I am more than satisfied. I wear these at work (in electrical construction on rides for Disney here in FL) almost every day and don't have to worry about them breaking at all. I havent even had one of the lenses pop out accidentally. They stay in the frames pretty securely. Overall, they are Oakley's at a more than decent price and I would absolutely recommend them.
Great price for a great set of sunglasses. You'd probably want to get a hard case of some kind for storage.
I had a pair of the original Half Jacket's about 14 years ago until I lost them a few years later. Since then, I had bought many pairs of cheap polarized sunglasses. They usually break after a year or so. My last pair lasted for much longer, but I couldn't find them anymore. For the price of this drop and the quality I remember, I'm happy so far. Even if the lenses go south in the future(a complaint I've seen in reviews), it seems 3rd party replacements are made and easily affordable.
Great sunglasses for golf. I did swap in prescription lenses from Fuse which I highly recommend. On sale they were much less than Oakley lenses and the optics seem just as good. So I just have Oakley frames, but I find them comfortable and I like that they will stay on my hat or head when not in use unlike most other sunglasses.
Well XL they may be but were quite tight - though they've eased up with use. Lens scratched more easily than I expected of Oakleys but nothing is made to the same standard these days - right?
