solomon146Not really. Look at our clasp. Ceramic bezel. Swiss Movement. Grade A fit and finish. 1000M. The quality and price is exceptional. See recent reviews here https://oceaneva.com/pages/reviews

OceanevaNo malice intended. This looks like a very legitimate, finely produced and functional tool watch. But I would love to see the high level of fit and finish you are providing applied to something other than a Rolex homage (which has been done to death and then some.) Tweak the hands, play with the shapes of the indices... god, ANYTHING to distinguish it visually from a design I've seen ten thousand times since my morning coffee. ;)

johnnylarueThanks for comments. We started with this. Popular style. In Demand. Build is off the charts. You wont find a watch with these specs and as nice of a build at this price point. Blancpain made the style one year before Rolex. Over 60 years ago. Since then hundred of brands have made the style. Not sure why the term Rolex homage is still used. They weren't the first to do it and its been 60 years and thousands of variations later by hundreds of brands. Its a diver style watch with rotating bezel.

OceanevaI would love to see this Blancpain dive watch you reference with a tapered crown guard, Mercedes hour hand, etc.! In all seriousness, there's no shame in acknowledging that this watch is designed after the Rolex Submariner, probably the most copied watch design of all time and, yes, the reason for the admittedly snarky comment that started this discussion. I recognize the value of what you're offering here as it were, but I look forward to seeing what you might add to the rich tradition of watchmaking in the future i.e. with a more original design.
