@Drop The grey drop options description box needs to be updated, the current version of the drop is clearly priced with the universal set as the base price, but the description gives it as being +$35, with the base price being for one of the specific funnels.

What is the story with this drop? I joined this drop on July 6th for the universal no-spill version. The drop was successfully completed on July 10th and the order placed immediately after being notified of the drop completion. On the July 27th (the same day the product was expected to be shipped to the drop participants!) I was notified by Massdrop's standard late fulfillment notification e-mail, stating that the product may ship later than the originally estimated July 27th shipping date due to an "unexpected delay". On August 12th, having still not received the product nor any subsequent updates on the shipping status, I reached out to Massdrop's Community Support team for an update. The next day I received a response from "David Q." basically repeating the same e-mail that I had received 2 weeks prior. Frustrated and pissed off, having pumped TONS of money into Massdrop just within the past year alone, I decided to play devil's advocate and wait.
It's now September 2nd, please provide everyone who participated in the same drop as myself with an actually tangible date of delivery that we can expect to receive the product by and hold each of you accountable to. You've been great with all the other drops I've jumped on, and there have been way more than several that I've personally participated in thus far, mind you. Why drop the ball so hard on this one? Yes, at the end of the day we are talking about a funnel here. Am I upset about a funnel? Absolutely not. But when paying up front for a product on a promise to receive it by a deadline, however blurry that date may be, at the very least I would expect the retailer to keep their customer base well-informed and provided with up to date information about the whereabouts of their purchases, preferably before the date they've been promised to ship by in the first place.

Does this come with a plug for the funnel? For those all important bubble purging when refilling a coolant system?

No option for a Kia other than the "Universal" which more than triples the price and adds a bunch of unnecessary junk to clutter up my garage.
Pass.

jbeavis19For anyone following this drop's comment section, Massdrop will almost always say no to a return like this unless they make a discrectionary exception based on the unique situation. It's a safe bet to say that the answer for something that can become soiled as easily as these, and because they would have likely been already used with an automotive chemical, would be a "No" on a return for this item. And to this commenter, you could have easily answered your own question by looking up the specs for both your engine and the product's spec sheet directly with OEM. Just get paper cones, honeslty. I made the mistake of buying the full kit and now I have useless extras that do not fit lying around taking up space in my garage
