I have owned 2 of these notebooks before, and gifted them, The paper is incredibly soft, I'd go along to say softest I have ever felt and with a bonus, waterproof. You can even grab a corner of the paper and stretch it (warping it in the process) and won't rip to some extent.
While it is soft and pleasing design, please note that it takes some time to soak in liquid ink(including your pigma microns!) or else be ready for smudges. This paper is probably one you have not encountered.
