The OHTO Proud vs. Celsus are practically the same pen. Here are the differences. OHTO Proud Fountain Pen · Pen length capped 137mm (rounded to nearest mm). · Pen length un-capped 120mm (rounded to nearest mm). · Pen length posted 160mm (rounded to nearest mm). · The finial on the barrel is flat and are the same color of the pen. · The finial on the cap is rounded and the same color of the pen. · The gold trim ring separates the barrel from the finial. · The feed and nib holder are black as the grip section. · The barrel tapers to end finial 13mm to 10mm (rounded to nearest mm). OHTO Celsus Fountain Pen · Pen length capped 142mm (rounded to nearest mm). · Pen length un-capped 128mm (rounded to nearest mm). · Pen length posted 162mm (rounded to nearest mm). · The finial is round on the cap and is gold in color. · The barrel is one piece with no finial. · The gold trim ring is on the barrel where it meets the grip section. · The feed and nib holder is gold matching the pen trim color. · The barrel does taper slightly from grip section to barrels end 13mm to 12 mm (rounded to nearest mm). I find both pens styles to work the same with similar weights they are very comfortable for all day writing. Found the fine nibs on both models to be very smooth with very good ink flow from the feed. I did not find the pens to be cheaply made though I will say the finish will scratch if not carried properly or dropped onto a rough surface. Your mileage may differ. If you are new to fountain pens and are looking for a decent upgrade in the full metal category, I believe you will not go wrong with these fountain pens.
Hope this helps.

Would appreciate the option to add a converter for each fountain pen order.

I have contacted support already, mentioning that this will keep people from ordering. I joined however, full of confidence that somebody will look into this, maybe tomorrow?!

It's still not taking off the $5 when selecting a rollerball. I see someone else mentioned this 3 days ago, pretty disappointing that no one from Massdrop looks at the comments on these drops while the drop is actually active. This is the most convenient and efficient way for people to ask questions about an active drop. Add me to the list of people who aren't joining because of this error.

How do these compare to the Prouds? I had them but they seemed very cheaply made with bad QC.

Fair point. Even so, there are plenty of better known pens tempting me right now. I think I'll wait and see what others have to say about the Celsus rather than rush in first and be the guinea pig in the coal mine (or something to that effect).

JaggiYeah, I'm going to be waiting as well. Might try my hand at a rollerball pen next. I am trying to find a nice pen that isnt too expensive as a second EDC. Harder than I thought it would be to get what I want lol.

JaggiYes. I want to join, but I would like this to be fixed first... I want a FP and a RB, but I don't see the $5 discount...
