Made in Japan, OHTO’s Dude rollerball pen features an aluminum barrel with a stainless steel pocket clip, chrome-plated brass fittings, and a plastic grip. And while the barrel is hexagonal, it tapers into a cylinder near the end, allowing the cap to be firmly posted Read More
Pen has one of the smoothest handling while writing. Almost no resistance. Lid seems to create micro scratches on the rear of the pen but it gets wiped off with a finger. Plastic or silicon line in the cap seems to wear off faster than I thought.
Really nice looking pen. I like that the lines are a little sharper, it's a little heavier and more mechanical ("click into place") than some of the alternatives like the Pilot Metropolitans. I switched out immediately for a g-2 refill and its been great to write with.
Very substantial pen. Heavy and writes well. It produces a fairly narrow line and personally I prefer a bolder line from a pen. No worries, I will simply purchase a new ink cartridge for this handsome pen. Would very much recommend.
I completely agree with the other review. Nice pen, writes great but the clip broke within just a couple of days. The ink ran out fairly quickly on both. Fix the clip and they would get 4 stars.
Sigh.. I really love how these pens write but cannot recommend the pen based on my personal poor experience.
I had ordered one black and one blue pen, but after a couple of weeks of use, my black pen snapped in the middle of the barrel while the cap was on and I can't even get the half of the pen in the cap out now.
Perhaps this is a manufacturing defect and won't get repeated with the blue pen, but it is very disappointing.
