The word fude translates as “writing brush” in Japanese. And while OHTO’s Fude Ball pen is technically a rollerball, it writes with the thick, bold lines befitting its name Read More
I've had the pens for a while and every single one of them leaks terribly. The ink slowly leaks out and when I go to write, its got a big gob of ink and have ruined a shirt because it slipped out of my hand when I went to pick it up off the desk and hit the front of my shirt and it wasn't a tiny spot. Truly a waste. I tried to give them away and they wound up back on my desk....
prakashmackayThere's a few reviews with the same issue about thickness of the writing point. I don't think it's fair to give a 2 star rating to a product because it was made as advertised. It clearly states that its a thicker 1.5mm point and had a picture with words written with the pen.
Two of the pens leaked profusely two of the pens skipped and scratched a so far the fifth is great. I like how it flows - I just hope it doesn't start leaking too.

Very nice pen set. Writes very well and smoothly too!
These are really broad nibbed, which I knew from the description. I wanted to try something with a fatter nib that I usually use, so that's fine. The thing I really don't like is they skip. Once you get writing the ink tends to flow okay, but getting them started is a problem. It's a disappointment because the other Ohto pens I've purchased have been great.
