Great Pens
I really enjoy using these pens on surfaces that the ink type works for, particularly in the 005 size. I sort of wish they came in an even smaller point size.

i legit love these fineliners. Normal fineliners have felt kinda tips, but this has a ball point tip and makes it so much enjoyable to use.

My New Favorite Pen for Everything!
OHTO makes the best pens out there, and these are no exception. They write smoothly, and the lines are always crisp.

inconsistent construction, strange definition of "waterproof"
Product: I purchased a 10-pack of the 0.3 mm variant. Through the first few pens, I ran into no issues. However on the fourth pen, the ball portion of the pen tip fell out of the "nib". On another pen, the middle portion of the pen began to leak ink and got everywhere. The writing experience also differs greatly from pen to pen. Some write like a dream, some are very dry and scratchy. This isn't the kind of quality that I expect from OHTO. Next, I feel like the waterproof advertising is an absolute sham. They say the ink is waterproof, but it's barely so. Water spilled in my backpack one day, soaking the bottom 1/3 of a composition book, and the notes were borderline unreadable. I will post pictures once I return to the US and have access to my notebooks. Although it didn't become ruined as most fountain pen inks would, but the ink diffuses through the paper with the water and makes impressions on the pages in front and behind the written surface.

I think that these were an excellent value. I happen to be an oddball who treasures very fine tip pens, and these filled the bill nicely. I'd buy them again in a heartbeat.

It says waterproof on the pens but none of them are, I doubt it's the paper since all my other waterproof pens do just fine on the same paper. I have been fooled before buying pens online ( not from massdrop) and gotten fakes, I dunno if these are fakes or if they just are shit.

TeddixThank you for your review. Aside from the waterproof - how are the other factors of the pens?
