I purchased 2 Ohto Proud pens on the previous drop and wanted to weigh in on 2 points. 1. Silicone Grip: 2 very important words and unique in my (admittedly low-end) fountain pen collection. The silicon grip means that the click-on cap has the smoothest and softest click of any pen I own, and also that the pen is more likely to feel 'room temperature' than the usual hard plastic or enameled metal grips. 2. Pay attention to the photo of the writing sample. Ohto may be a Japanese manufacturer but the nibs are European 'Fine', not Japanese 'Fine.' I have found the two I bought to be smooth, comfortable writers.
