Anyone know anything about the possibility of extender tubes on these models ? In the older model one could outfit the S15 for instance with multiple AA's which would increase the length and the runtime (EDIT: I think only the S15 had the possiblity of extender tubes.. someone can correct me on that). See: http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?366683-Olight-S15-Baton-XM-L2-1xAA-or-2xAA-or-3xAA-Review for details.
Also has anyone actually seen a review for these new models ? I've yet to find anyone talking in any detail about the changes (e.g. the revised button) of the new models on sale here.

LostAltanAn extender on the S15R would defeat the purpose of the charging capability since you wouldn't be able to use 2 x 14500s or charge two of them at the same time. I think the light is too new to have reviews yet. The only advantage of this model over the non-recharging versions would be the low profile switch if you disregard charging capability.

LucentAn extender to allow for the use of multiple AA's may come in handy though, since the S15R supports the use of a AA. Though, yes, recharging would not work as the charger is for Li-ion batteries only (NIMH cannot be recharged in the dock). I'm mainly imagining a scenario where one would want the extra length opposed to a better runtime (since the included Li-ion would have that covered).
EDIT: Reading more of the review I posted above, it appears that the previous model actually had quite an increased runtime with 2x AA's over the 14500 that he tested with : http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?366683-Olight-S15-Baton-XM-L2-1xAA-or-2xAA-or-3xAA-Review&p=4254551&viewfull=1#post4254551 Perhaps more importantly in addition to increased runtime.. output is increased (over a single AA though not over a 14500). I guess it makes sense since the using an extension tube would have the batteries working not in parallel but serially where a higher voltage would exist.
Extension tube likely makes it a bit unwieldly though; the reviewer didn't mention it and neither did selfbuilt in his review of an earlier model : http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?367813 selfbuilt says he thinks of that model of S15 as a dual AA light with the ability to be a single AA or a 14500 light due to the ability of having an extension tube. /OCD
