nikolayThe duvet set for King also fits a Cal King.
The bedding sheet - they do make Cal King, we're just not offering it this time around as not enough units available, but we're definitely taking the feedback into consideration and if the interest is there we'll work with Olive Wren to offer it next time around

TomasVTomas, also please see my comments above related to the quantities for specific items within this offering. In my view, this was a chaotic drop and not really appropriate given the selection provided. I don't think this entire situation belongs on MD as I described above. Please note my serious concern with vendors who are just dumping clearance instead of proper pricing valuations for true category leaders of normal product offerings! This doesn't appear to offer appropriate merchandise and value to me. I don't think this vendor should return until they are prepared to offer real deals on a substantial quantity of high caliber merchandise and not just a token amount.

I'll say completely straight-forward with you: these quantities we got were not clearance, it wasn't the vendor trying to dump inventory on us through you (i'm always sad when our community members think this is what we do on the regular). It just happens that Olive Wren is a smaller company that's finally picking up steam in the media, and we decided to feature them on Men's Accessories. It's actually our first time offering bedding on our site, and given the positive response from our members, we're definitely already looking at increasing quantities and offerings, not just from Olive Wren but other enthusiast bedding companies as well.
In conversation with the Olive Wren folks, they're ramping up their production and we should soon see new events with them that feature good quantities across all sizes and colors.
I do understand your frustration, but trust me when i say it wasn't on purpose or trying to flush down inventory.
Thanks again for your interest on this drop, and hope to give you guys some new offerings in the near future!

TomasVThank you for your response and explanation, Tom. That was professional and courteous. I intend to be "straight-forward" with you as well. I understand your reasoning and I am totally on board with your intent to find promising new products and, especially, new and upcoming vendors who are demonstrating impressive submissions.
I will say that I hope that you also learned a lesson from this experience and are actually more responsible for this situation than Olive Wren. One thing I have noted about MD is there impressive discussion when describing products and sources. My opinion is that a big chunk of what you sent to me should have been present in the initial product description... that this was a new product category and vendor and was, in essence a test case. It would have been useful to know that there were going to be some select limitations due to unpredictability of demand and quantities.
I was prepared to take a chance on this item and feel that I am a victim of this lack of information. In addition to saying, in effect, "no harm, no foul" and it wasn't the "intent" to make this a fail for me, I would like to propose that I be given a specific invitation/notice when the next opportunity arises to demonstrate that you would like to actually "correct" this defect in this initial offering... Just a suggestion of what you could do in recognition of how this didn't really work out as intended.. In any case, thanks for your consideration and I do wish success for Olive Wren as they look to expand and increase their visibility.

In hindsight, for drops that have limited availability we usually put a total unit count on the main page and that was left out this time around. Definitely room for improvement there and a bit more call to action for our customers could have gone a long way.
Once the drop ends you can always request it and be notified the next time it goes up on the site. We definitely hope to have more units available across all sizes / colors next time around -- offering Full and California King sizing as well.
