I've had this lens for about a year, as others have said this an excellent portrait lens, besides a great macro lens. The only short coming is it does hunt for focusing in dim light. It is better to manual

This drop is not much of a "deal". For $20 more I can get this lens online in a couple of days with a full warranty. No waiting for a month until it ships, no worries about service. I expected more from Massdrop and so far....

sdufordYes. International Spec means no warranty. $20 less is not worth having no warranty. This is an awful "deal" that should be removed. I sincerely hope no one falls for it.

sdufordAnd it consistently drops in price to $350. I got it off Adorama's eBay page when there was a 15% discount on eBay, so I got it for around $300.

I have this lens on my EM-5 and it is superb for both portrait and macro. It also works well as a mid-telephoto when I'm shooting on the road - I only carry primes and this is my longest. I can't recommend it highly enough.

i just bought one about a week before this showed up on massdrop (darn!), and absolutely love the lens. great fun to play with, and an extremely fun lens to play with for macro or portraits.
