Soooo…If it’s “Custom” (which implies unique), then how can it be “Universal” (which implies common)? 🤔😉

glennacI think they're tying to say two things - first is that this plate is meant to build a custom keyboard. That is, you'll need a PCB, case, switches, keycaps and stabilizers that you will then put together yourself. The second thing they're saying is that this wasn't designed to be paired with a specific PCB - it's nearly universal in that it can go with virtually any custom PCB out there.

So if I have the DZ60 RGB Hotswap ANSI PCB v1 (the purple colored PCB) the 2.25u left shift plate will work with the standard layout? As pictured below

Im planning to build a buger case, so it fits gh60, gk61, & gk64 pcbs would this plate work? I'm probably just going to buy this as I'm not really willing to wait most likely 4 months to buy a plate from aliexpress lol

Sorry buddy but I ended up buying it somewhere else. If you are in Canada I am happy to dm a link for it so you can buy it, but it's polycarbonate. Otherwise this plate is probably good as the layout is super similar to the plate that I purchased

Selfish_AndroidNo, but I can machine you one if you want. Just hmu on twitter @JayVon_Ro with what PCB you have and ill get to it. Pick your metal as-well. Doesn't have to be brass. I can do copper, brass, stainless, composite, and for an extra hefty cost I'll do carbon fiber.

Anyone know if this will fit a GK61X? GK61X is the updated GK61 with split spacebar module. I have the GK61X in an aftermarket aluminum case, but most cases don't have screw pins for the modular spacebar, so there is no way to secure it..

PSA: Universal plates sound and feel like garabge. Highly recommend you try to find a plate that does not have such large cavernous holes in it. Either one for a specific layout of one for both ANSI and Tsangan specifically designed to have smaller openings.

Can someone correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like this supports switchtop removal, would it be fine in a hot swap board?

MagicHeadYea, it supports switch top removal, but this doesn't matter for a hot swap board, since you can swap switches with any plate.
