It looks like this unit is just being phased out for a new model?
Pretty disappointing to see how Massdrop has gone downhill for audiophile offerings. This is not a terrible product, but it is not premium grade and this deal is basically 20% off the street price for a closeout.

Sonos does better than most but it's still focused on convenience and not performance. WiSA tech will become more prevalent but at current it's limited in function and overly expensive. https://www.wisaassociation.org/
