I spent twice this on my left and right front speakers with built in atmos and that was cheap. I had a set of these speakers in 2008 and they were crap back then too. This is not worth dropping IMO.

Hey B.Hutch, I'm pretty sure that coupon was not an option when I made that post.. Ever since I looked like a idiot posting about a drop price and then having the "posting lower than the MRSP not being allowed" pointed out to me.. I always check for that first. However, I can not say 100% sure it was not there, but better be sure I'll always check going forward. Now that is out of the way, can you comment on why Massdrop does not check other sites before they post a drop? I mean this particular drop is $20 off the lowest published in stock price with shipping, but there is a 3 week lead time on the item... not really much of deal. The fact this product is an ancient in tech life (12 years old) and is not available from 99% of the authorized Onkyo dealers (discontinued?) ... does not really help the massdrop name. Doesn't the lack of consumer interest in a drop and comment threads like this damage the Massdrop reputation for the customer, as well as the faith a manufacture has in Massdrop to move products? I really think that Massdrop has some really great drops from time to time in all of their areas, but sometimes... you guys just post trash... and looking at more and more of these comments on various drops, I feel like that belief is expanding. Maybe I'm not clear what the goal Massdrop is, or perhaps it has changed over time to something else.
