These dice are great for me. I love the heavier feel of them, they are easy to read, and they roll well. I hear what people are saying about the brittleness of them but I've never rolled them on anything harder than the wood of a table and they haven't chipped at all. I usually roll them onto my character sheets (which are covered in plastic) or into a dice tray. It would probably not be smart to roll them onto anything hard. They even come in a plastic "pill-box" which would suggest that they should be well taken care of.

These dice have a solid, quality weight to them and feel great in the hand when rolling. The wonderful way that light interacts with the dice is a nice touch as well - everyone I play with loves to pick them up, exclaim about the solid weight, and then marvel at the colors. Really couldn't ask for more.

Beautiful dice, the d4 broke almost immediately (an acquaintance dropped it 4ft onto ceramic, so not a product fault) but the d20 and d6 are the only ones truly transluscent.
Edit: the d20. #s 2 and 17 have partially worn off after 2 years, but that's a lot of experience earned with those dice.

These dice are really nice looking, and have a great feel while rolling. I have two sets so far, and while there is some slight variation in their translucency, they all look great. I only roll them on a felt-lined dice tray, as opal is a relatively soft stone.

They look very nice. The ones I got have printed numbers, not engraved, but I the decription said that. The only this I wish is that they had more uniform font size between dies. They ship in a pill box.

Solid dice, especially for the price. However, there is some noticeable milkyness in some of the "opalite" die, to a point where the opalescent was unnoticeable. I got two sets, and one had a milky d20, and the other had a milky d6.

The Shapes are not even for fair rolling. the D20 and D12 are particularly noticeable, as you can see the opposite face isn't even when you have it resting on the table. They look very pretty though.
