Nice looking, pocket-able, and such a smooth writer (M)
Yes, this is smaller than the Opus Demonstrator I picked up. It fits in my shirt pocket much better and looks nice with the two tone ebonite and window plastic. I decided to go with a medium this time and indeed a wet writer and I love it. Again this is not friendly to the typical office paper and right now I am stuck on a large Zequenz notebook which feathers and bleeds if not on an EF nib. It works fine on Tomoe River, Maruman, and TWSBI paper which holds up best with fountain pen inks. Since this time, I have grown to love Opus pens when I decide what to ink up next. I ended up picking up an Omar which also has two-tone and the EF nib on that writes just as smooth. The quality of the 3 I received so far are fantastic and this eyedropper fill mechanism is the way to go for me!

A fine that for now is a smidge dry; could be the Noodler's Shaw Red, the nib, or the ink flow control. I have had good luck with Waterman or Pelikan.

This pen has a very appealing appearance and feel. It's an excellent writer with a nice balance. The only drawback is the need to unscrew the release valve to assure smooth in flow. Not really a fault of the pen as this is a necessity for an ink dropper pen. I have a Franklin-Christioph that is promoted for its use as an ink dropper pen. Without the release mechanism its a mess to use. The Opus 88 is very no fuss-no mess.

The nib (broad) writes like butter. The pen's materials and its being an eye dropper appeal to the tactile delight, which is, after all, one of the reasons we all so enjoy fountain pens!
