You’re shelling out some pretty pennies for that raw denim you’re rocking, but there’s something not quite right. Maybe it’s the button finish, or the fit, or maybe the color thread featured throughout. To get a pair of pants that fits perfectly and can be customized down to the denim weight, make yourself a pair of OriJeans Custom Raw Denim.
While their site offers more options, this drop is limited to a few variables, but there’s still more than enough room to make them your own. Start off by choosing your denim, either 10.5 oz or 12.5 oz raw denim made from 100% cotton. Both denims come from Japanese mills that use vintage shuttle looms, with the 10.5 oz originating from Kaihara Mills and the 12.5 oz sourced from Kurabo Mills. Both fabrics wear nicely to your body and change with your use, developing fade lines and creases around your specific shape.
Then, pick the color threading between Egyptian Topaz and Cardinal Red and select whether you want silver or gold buttons. The final touch is fit, and you have your choice between a slim or straight cut. After you make your selections, OriJeans hand produces every pair from their workshop in Western Ukraine. Designed, cut, and sewn by a group of dedicated artisans, every aspect of the jeans is handcrafted, even taking the time to hand hammer the buttons and rivets.
We’ve spent so much time talking about what’s different, we almost missed what makes us (and our jeans) the same. Every pair features double felled seams and selvedge denim for extra durability, five standard pockets in the style of the Levi’s 501, a five button fly, a pass through leather patch on the back, and heavyweight cotton twill pocket lining. Arriving with a medium rise and sanforized to prevent shrinking, a pair of OriJeans Custom Raw Denim will fit you like nothing else, and look like no one else’s.
