Unr8tedsawOrient is one of the few companies that uses in-house movements. Most of their affordable watches (including this one) use the Orient cal. 469, which shares many similarities to old Seiko movements. I actually prefer the 469 over comparably priced miyota and seiko movements. BPH is 21,600.
Edit: Looks like I slipped up. The Bambino uses the cal. 48743, which is essentially the same as the 469, but without the day and the related pusher.

Unr8tedsawIIRC Orient makes their own movements, in-house. They don't use Miyota or Seiko movements. I think they're one of the last non-Swiss watchmaking houses to make their own movements.

quanticleactually Orient is now owned by Seiko,. They bought them few years ago. I think they still use the original Orient mechanical movements designed prior to being purchased., so still unique Orient movements.
