Another watch with a mineral crystal. I wish massdrop wouldn't waste space and time on watches that don't have a sapphire crystal. If people want a mineral crystal they can go to walmart.

MASSDROP please clarify for us.
Your description says, "Orient Caliber F6724 22-jewel automatic" which is generation 1 movement WITHOUT hand winding and hacking abilities. Is this a mistake? Or they purposely placed an older movement in a newer body for this drop?
The current generation 2 bambino supposed to have ORIENT Cal. F6724 Automatic, Hand-winding, Hacking Mov’t.

IceeWhich model number is this? All four options offered in the most recent iteration of this drop have the F6724 movement.

This is definitively not a deal. Amazon Bambino Gen 2 Ver 2 is up for grabs for $114 + tax at Amazon. I don't understand why Drop advertises these types of "deals". I hope it's not trying to mislead customers into believing that they are saving money by purchasing here.

Go to eBay and search for “21mm black leather strap” and you’ll find quite a few options. The one I ordered came with a gold buckle but I bought an 18mm silver stainless steel buckle and replaced it. The Orient buckle is 20mm and most 21mm straps taper to 18mm so the Orient buckle will not be a direct swap. If I recall correctly the whole thing, strap and buckle, cost me around $15. I would avoid sellers from China because I discovered that many of their straps aren’t genuine leather even though they claim otherwise. Plus shipping from China takes forever and forget about returns if you have an issue. Stick with North American sellers and you should be OK. Good luck.

I used a 22mm strap for this 21mm lug width watch, you can search NATO strap Red Blue Beige, but most of them are out of stock now.

I'd love it if MD would have another SARB065 drop (Seiko has obsoleted this model, and replaced it with a trivially different but slightly more expensive version).

Damn shame they didn't include the new versions of the Bambino. The version with the roman numerals and slimmer hands is gorgeous. If anybody was hoping for that version, I'll be starting a poll for that one.

Yeah, the drop sold out in under 2 days so it was in and out relatively quickly. We're working with Orient to coordinate more drops based on their inventory, so keep your eyes peeled!
