To be perfectly clear, the "MAR" in the date window in the heading picture is "MAR" as in "Martes" as in "Tuesday", not "MAR" as in "March", right?

FatestormYep, you are correct. MAR is for Martes. It's common to find Spanish as the alternate language for Seiko/Orient meant for the North/South American markets. The alternate language has a "transition phase" from around 1am-2am. Otherwise, you will always see the English day wheel.
