I don't know what movement my orient has, but it has only the crown and no setting assist button. Crown can set day or time, but date is set back and forth thru midnight. How does this one set day and date?

FearlessleaderWatch the video review on the description page, the reviewer shows how to set it from about the 6:30 mark. Basically setting the date is the same as you are used to but to set the day you'll need to cycle through the hours to get the day to change.

l3xm4rkOn Orient USA's website they have a video showing that to change the day you only have to cycle from about 1AM to 4AM to move one day forward, you can then turn the hands back to 1AM and repeat, so it shouldn't take too long to cycle through the week.

LHSolutions☺ Just enjoying some new watches lol, my alpinist arrived during the week, hooray. Immediately swapped out the band. Also received my blue mako on SS bracelet from Amazon which is very very nice, nd now the defender and sarb033 are on their way! I really need to take a break and just enjoy them for a bit I think. How are you liking your new toys?
