good looking watch, but this is not really a deal. You can get these watches for the same or cheaper prices elsewhere with immediate shipping, no need to wait for a month for Drop to ship: https://www.jomashop.com/orient-watch-fac05005b0.html

rumata13 Definitely worth the extra three-bucks to bypass MD's "waiting period", but this watch is so painfully dull and boring, that I wouldn't pay three-bucks to own one! I've nothing against inexpensive watches (I own several) but life is too damned short to run around in plain-Jane, wallflower watches--no matter how little one pays for them!

RayFIt is a snoozer. If you don’t fall asleep waiting for it, you will when you look at it.

Omegaman68Maybe its not the most interesting piece but for someone getting into watches and wanting a well made automatic on a budget its a nice option imo. I wouldn't expect someone with Omega in their sn to find an Orient to their liking anyhow.

CdoyleI have no problem with Orient for the most part. They give you a lot of bang for your buck. THIS Orient however, is a snooze fest to me. I think if you are just getting into watches, you can find more interesting pieces for around the same price. Also, yes I do have a couple of Omegas in my collection, but that has nothing to do with my screen name (it from one of my favorite movies). I also own and wear Seiko, Bulova etc., even an Invicta ( but it’s a “pro diver” so I get a pass for that). If you like this watch then buy it and enjoy it. The watch hobby is about wearing what you like. Don’t let what someone else thinks stop you from enjoying something you like. Peace Homie and enjoy the hobby.

RayFYep, if he wants an Orient, Bambino is the way to go. Or a Mako for something sporty.

Omegaman68I actually own an Orient 3 star and a ray 2 along with a ti seiko. I agree Orient offers a lot of bang for the buck and have considered a bambino also many times. The ray is probably my current favorite although the seiko is a nice daily wear being lightweight. Ill be honest the howard isnt a model ive heard of before this drop but after watching some videos online I thought it looked good enough for the price point and really have been wanting an exhibition caseback watch. If you have any suggestions for other watches to look at id be interested.
