$89 for a perpetual calendar watch , it's def a deal. We are still talking about a reliable Seiko automatic. It does look a bit odd ... Some say it's one of those that should be in one's collection.
JojosenNot a Seiko movement unfortunately. While Seiko and Orient are both in subsidiary companies that are owned by the same orient conglomerate, they’re not under the same direct umbrella.
Orient makes their own movements, including this one.
FYI, all the movements are essentially the same, just different model numbers and generations.
No hacking, no handwinding. The ‘perpetual’ function is basically an integrated slide rule of dates, adjusted via crown and pushers to line up and keep track.
Still pretty cool though.
