However, I replaced the band with a black-and-grey nato strap with black PVD rings (search amazon for "zulu g10 nato pvd black grey"), and also replaced the spring bars with heavier-duty ones (search amazon for "2.5mm spring bar"), just in case.
Edit: I have the blue ray, not the black. The blue appears black, except in sunlight, where it turns into a glorious shade of ultraviolet-like blue.
Edit 2: in the picture, the grey appears somewhat blue. It really is grey in real-life, but can be mistaken for being slightly bluish.
