Orient does make a good watch. I've always found the threshold to be start at $300 for a watch with a good automatic movement and a sapphire crystal. This is a great deal imo.
I would like to buy an entry level automatic watch for my 14 year old son to wear every day as he starts high school. I'd like to be under $400. He would like a blue dial & metal bracelet.
This almost fits the bill but not quite and I don't own an Orient watch so unsure of quality/performance.
Does anyone have a reccomendation?
PiggymarOrient is a well respected watch manufacturer. Even watch enthusiast respect them. They make their own movements and do a good job all-round. They are probably the most bang for your buck company out there next to Seiko
