Original Penguin The Snead Polarized Sunglasses

The brand’s story dates back to 1955, when a Munsingwear salesman on a work trip in New York City—inspired, perhaps, by a few whiskeys—bought a penguin from a local taxidermy shop, thinking he needed a drinking buddy for the flight home. Later, the flight attendant saw the two sitting together and remarked that the penguin ought to be immortalized. The salesman thought it was a great idea, and the rest is history.
