I'm just wondering if the amount of discoloration in my belt is normal. I understand pull-up, but this is what it looks like straight out of the box.

swinginfriarMine looks the same way. I don't believe the original picture of the belt was an accurate indication of the wild color striping on it. It's not very attractive in my opinion.

swinginfriarMy belt pattern kind of irked me too when I first got it, but it has really grown on me. I notice that I'm grabbing it more often than the plain Orion harness belt that I have. I believe that because of the manufacturing process each belt will be somewhat unique. So I agree that there should be more pictures of the finished product.
Here is my belt after about a month of use. The harness is much older, and I wanted to add it for comparison. Besides the color variation I like the finished edge and smaller buckle on the Hot Dipped Tan version of the Harness. YMMV.
