This looks great, especially with the screw posts. Can a brass hardware version be arranged at all?

payodpandaFor this drop, only stainless steel hardware is being offered. However we would be able to offer brass hardware in a future drop.

payodpandaFrom my experience on the Orion Harness belt - Although I do not have size issues, and the leather is very nice, the buckle of the belt (I have the brass buckle) is poorly made. The roller is very thin and it already got a dent from the buckle tongue after 2-3 hour of use. I will have to swap out the buckle very soon. No wonder it is removable. BTW, I have decided to leave this drop due to its quality issue.

ZZ_UPennOh, my experience is different. I have the Orion hot dipped tan harness belt, and the leather is definitely nice. I haven't had trouble with the buckle yet, but I don't wear it that often (I'll probably wear it more over the autumn / winter).
I was interested in this drop because I know the leather quality is great, and it's a nice width for me (I prefer the smart / smart casual side of the spectrum).

payodpandaI agree the leather is very nice. However, the buckle for the harness belt is poorly made (I received it a few days ago). I have attached a photo and you can clearly see that the roller bar is made of a piece of thin copper, and a dent made from contact with buckle tongue is visible. I have another Orion belt 'Orion Black Bridle Belt Double Hole'. The buckle is very well made. I hope people in this drop will be luckier than me.

ZZ_UPennAh, I see what you mean. For me, personally, that isn't much of an issue for the price I'm paying. I mean for me, the buckle isn't the best you can get but it's not terrible, compared to what you get for a similar price usually.
I know it's not the best argument, but I guess I'm just trying to justify this by comparing it to other products in the same category. You get piece of crap belts for $40 elsewhere.
I guess, since the leather is nice, the buckle can be changed down the line? I don't know. I don't know very much about belts at all, to be honest. :)

payodpandaYes. I did keep the belt and swapped the buckle out. MassDrop offered refund or replacement (weeks of wait time), but I don't think it was worth the hassle.
