The Oris Artix Complication Moonphase fits quite a bit of function into its 42-millimeter case. There’s a day and month window in the center, a date track along the inner chapter ring (indicated by the red crescent-shaped fourth hand), and of course, a moonphase indicator at 6 o’clock that’s printed with the words Grande Lune Read More

Those who own this or tried in store, how legible is the moon phase with black dial? I tried a similar omega and it wasn't very legible. Any pointers will be helpful.
Thanks
If you go on YouTube and look up this watch the movement is heavily detailed and it doesn’t say 26 JEW on the back. I don’t know if the one on YouTube is newer or older than the one on drop right now though..
If I didn't have a Tudor Fastrider Black Shield on the way, I believe I would pull the trigger on this, as I don't have a moonphase in my collection as of yet...
I missed the previous drops. I can't miss this one... (1199$ 6 month ago, 1100$ in march) .
1079$, pretty a good deal.
Come on my wrist, gorgeous watch ! :)
Anyone know the lug to lug measurement on this? Don’t know why this info isn’t on every drop, as that spec is a better indicator of how it will fit (look) on a given wrist.
jakub-gozdzikNothing was wrong with it (its being shipped right now), I'm just a little peeved that the lower end version was offered right before this one. If I had known, I'd have waited for this. Right now I'm on the fence about ordering this watch (which I really want) and trying to sell the one that was dropped a week ago.
Gorgeous. Love the simplicity, a little bit of color and the detail on the dial. Price is reasonable, too. If I was in the market, this would likely be the one.
This would really stand out if it weren't for that Maurice Lacroix for $200 more. Any thoughts on reasons this would trump the Lacroix (other than being $200 less)?
As for the warranty, I’d humbly recommend reading through my thread comments. In short, a warranty is only valid if the Authorized vendor fills out the warranty book and stamps it. I did not get that with mine. Many other users had the same experience both on that drop and others.
DennisJamesI prefer the Valjoux 7751 on the Maurice LaCroix over the Sellita 200 + Dubois Depraz on this Oris. Also you're getting a chronograph there. I joined for the Maurice LaCroix.
