Quite a handsome watch. Does anyone currently have it? Thoughts on it?

So the picture of the back of the case shows a stainless steel bracelet option that doesn’t seem to be available. Watch is 16mm thick FYI. Also, I’ve looked at the clasp and band on other sites and I’m confused as to how you size it. There are no holes like in a normal leather strap. There are also no indications this is a ‘cuttable’ strap either. Anyone know?

So what happens if you have smaller wrists? Is the end of one strap able to completely pass through the clasp, or would you be limited to only pushing it in to end of the clasp and that’s it? Either way, thanks for the info. Makes this a deal killer for me.

WatchyoutalkingaboutActually I just looked at a pic on ebay of this watch and I now have absolutely no idea how the clasp works. Forget what I said earlier.

Guys, you all need to tone it down a little, you are all in the community, which means as a collective we should all get along cordially, yes sometimes MD is beaten on price, but you have to ask two questions: 1/Is this a resale? because if you are not the first official owner there is. no warranty. 2/ Is this a low stock or no stock price being used as a loss leader to get you onto the site just to buy something else? Also why be an MD member if you are going to keep on criticising MD and attacking them? I just don't get it! If you don't like what you see ,don't say anything;other members read the discussions hoping to get useful information,we all can browse the net to check pricing and availability ourselves. I wouldn't be surprised if MD does remove some comments altogether never mind redacting swear words. Bear in mind MD although in business to make money they do provide this useful service; you have to ask yourself would you like it gone????? JAone

Not so interested in the watch, but I'm curious and a little confused trying to follow the conversation between @Wavridr and @OMGItIsPhil . Who was threatening to get whom thrown off the site--and for what?

I'm assuming the two didn't see eye to eye on one point or another? Surprising, because discussions in the watch community, typically maintain an air of sophistication and civility--not the ones I'm involved in of course--but generally ;- )

FWIW, jomashop currently (13-Apr-2019) has this at $1,225.00, in stock. So nice watch, but not a terribly good deal indeed.

Jacobs603Dont forget to search for online coupons for jomashop. I bought a Tag Heuer from there recently and used a $50 off $1000 coupon and since there is no tax it will come out cheaper.

Ok “Phil”. If you post another comment like this I’m going to get you thrown off here. You’re one of these people who finds it easy to type stuff and press send. For everyone else. Here’s just a few and when I originally posted this, Jomashop had the watch for $1250. My point is, I’ve bought enough stuff on here to realize that there are a few times when they have really good deals. But this like many things, is NOT a really good deal. Plus or minus $100 isn’t a good deal, it’s what the watch is available for on the discount watch market. And see what happens if you have a problem with the watch vs. if you bought from Joma or any of the others. Now if Massdrop could get a discount on Rolex, Tudor, Brietling or any of the brands that don’t offer more than 10% no matter what, that would be a deal. The rest of these watches are ALWAYS discounted between 40%-60%. Anyone who disagrees with this doesn’t KNOW the watch world.

I have reported your post. I suggested that you tone it down, but clearly you aren’t interested. This will be my last post on this topic. I do this for a living. I posted this post about the value of the watch because it’s correct. Everyone who buys anything on here knows that there are many times in many drops in every category where things are NOT such a good deal. If you look at this, they only sold 4 of these watches......if this were some great deal, they would have sold more. I stand 100% by my commets.

Nice watch but another one with a fantasy MRSP. An Oris with a 7750 is worth about $1K.

Would have been nice if there were more options than the black on black. Would have liked to have seen a white dial variant.
