Product Description
Most cutting tasks don’t require a full-sized folding knife, and most full-sized folding knives take up more space than they need to in your pocket. The Crane from London design studio Ornisi is perfect for those day-to-day jobs where you could use a little edge Read More

There's no hole for a chain or cord to tether this to a key ring.

Ok, so I actually backed this, and the version that looks like a little AR multi tool. Ignoring that, this is a super small scalpel blade, but also super dangerous. Hide this near your fly, or anywhere else metal won’t be detected. think of this as a small ineffective blade you might use to cut your thumb off to get out of handcuffs if you had 48 (unsearchrd) hours to do so. The scalpel blades are of course, sharp AF. They should make a non metallic version, because as it is, it is a super small, poorly engineered folding scalpel. This is not a functional blade. not all of the fault lies with them (Chinese factories literally stole their design), but they also just based their design around scalpel blades, and then just wasted investors money. My opinion I suppose, but do your own research. prepare to cut your finger tips off and be asked to pay for it. I payed for it, but haven’t cut myself, but am not surprised it ended up on “drop”. novelty scalpel blade holder, is the best you can say about this.
arp415Yeah, I have seen lots of scalpel blade holders recently, and a lot of them scare the bejesus out of me. Half of them look like I could accidentally get a sliver of skin caught under the blade while rummaging around in my pocket for something and pull back more blood than fingertip. This one at least kinda looks like it protects the edge of the blade while it is closed, but it is so small that I would be afraid to try to close it. The first scalpel holder that I have come across that I might consider is this one from CountyComm: https://countycomm.com/products/folding-titanium-craft-scalpel-knife-case-spare-blades That's not to say that there aren't other ones out there that I would consider... just that I haven't come across them, yet (and I, admittedly, have not been looking).

arp415Yes, I backed the Kickstarter, waited over two years, and was completely underwhelmed by this and the Puna. I also seriously sliced my finger trying to remove the blade. It is near impossible without pliers, at least on the ones I received, which invalidates the whole remove the blade at the airport so you do not lose the knife thing. In addition, by the time these arrived, I had bought some slightly larger folding scalpels from County Comm that are bettter in every way (design, production, ergonomics and price).
