WeirdGI use it with me SE315s. Never had any problems with it and its much more comfortable than the stock cable.

SnypeHow's the durability? The issue I have with my Westone cable is, it feels really flimsy. I'm always worried I'll wreck the cable.

WeirdGIts actually really solid. It's not as robust as the OEM Shure cable. But it bends quite easily. It is on the shorter side, I think 1m. The only issue is that if you try you can unravel the weave. But it takes a significant amount of effort and I would be impressed if it happened accidentally. I suppose something thin and strong enough could penetrate and wreck the braid, but I don't see that happening unless you keep needles in your pockets. 3.5mm connector is solid and has a nice big metal housing around where the wires connect. MMX connector is about what you would expect. No better or worse than any other cable.

RichJo86That's too bad. Was about to ask how microphonic it is, that is deal-breaker for me.

jeffriI'm happy with my Linum BaX cable. Only con is that it is a bit tangle prone.

RichJo86I have Linum BaX, very nice cable, thin and sturdy, however the MMCX connector I got is rather loose, some IEM fit just fine, but some other keep losing connection. Too bad the IEM I bought it for have loose connection, so I have been eyeing some other aftermarket cable right now. :)

WeirdGLower part is twisted after the Y-splitter it's just single wire. Hopefully this answers you're question.

jeffriMMCX is known for that kind of crap. For my UE900 I bought a Oyaide cable which started cutting out after 6+ months. The Linum cable is still good.

WeirdGRadius TWF41, JVC FX850 and Shure SE215. Out of them, only my Radius have loose connection with Linum cable. The others worked just fine.

jeffriCool... I'll be pairing them with Westone UM Pro30 IEMs. I assume things will be okay. Just wanted to make sure you didn't have a loose connection with Westone IEMs, otherwise I'd have to re-consider.

WeirdGI have no experience with Westone, hopefully it will turns out fine. Good luck! It's a pretty good cable, super thin and light, comfortable and just have a tiny amount of cable noise (one of the best from what I have tried). :)

jeffriThat's awesome. I can get the Linum BaX cables for about $100CAD shipped from HeadPhoneBar. If that's a better cable, then I'll just go with that. Works out being less too, after you convert MD's list price to CAD.

WeirdGIt's all about luck with MMCX I'd say. I own Westone W60, even the cable that comes with them had loose connection problem. It might just be me. I used the other cable with mic and controls, and it worked fine. Then bought another aftermarket cable which also worked fine.
