I'm in at 1099. Deciding factors: could not find one negative review from someone who actually used the ORU kayak. Also, no sales tax unless you are in New Jersey or Cali, which helps a lot. I'm comfortable paying a premium for portability. And I don't have to sacrifice performance. Wish there was more time to for ppl to sign up...

Darbno sales tax (like you mentioned...) and the shipping is $10 less (versus the ORU website).
