This security kit from Orvibo allows you to monitor, control, and adjust settings across your entire home from your smart device—from anywhere in the world. Included in the kit is a Zigbee Mini Hub, door & window sensor, motion sensor, and a Wi-Fi camera. Each device in the kit (as well as the add-ons) functions in tandem with the Zigbee Mini Hub, which acts as the command center. This means that if one fails, the others in the network will remain unaffected. Once you’ve set up the Mini Hub, you can connect up to 100 other devices to the network and control them all through the free application on any compatible iOS or Android device.

View real-time video of your home, set timers for lights when you’re on vacation, or turn compatible appliances on and off just before getting home from work. Plus, thanks to two-way audio you can communicate with pets, loved ones, or intruders in case of emergency. You can also get alerts when the motion sensor is tripped, a door is opened without your permission, the smoke detector is activated, the temperature gets too high, carbon monoxide levels peak, or water starts to leak—you’ll quickly discover many more uses, too.
