If I understood right, the KC06 is better as it offers a more balanced sound than the KC06A.
Then why it is cheaper on ebay?
As I'm sure you know, in this hobby, a higher price tag ≠ better performance. Not to mention, "better" is highly subjective. For those in search of a sound closer to neutrality, the KC06 may be deemed better (i.e., more suitable). The KC06A, on the other hand, is Ostry's latest offering, and is "dressed cooler" (their words, not mine). Besides that, based on current market trends, it's quite evident which version they'd expect to sell more of; the bass-enhanced version. However, the two are cut from the same cloth and I'm sure the KC06A will find just as many admirers as the KC06.
