I just bought the Nuforce EDC IEM's, but these are really tempting me! I record live shows/concerts of jambands mostly (hence I'm called a "Taper" in my world), with Schoeps microphones and great Recording gear. Do yinz (yes I'm from SW PA lol) think that these would be an "upgrade" to the Nuforce EDC IEM's I just got? BTW, I have ZERO desire to buy ANY IEM's or headphones for more than $200, so please consider that when you're reading this! Most of my music listening is done when traveling, so I'm not really interested in some super amazing IEM's or headphones that are like $500.
Fwiw, I love the EDC IEM's and they sound pretty smooth and nice overall, with just the right amount of bass/low-end IMO for what I normally record!
The only caveat that I see on these Ostry IEM's, is that these have the MMCX connector's, and my Nuforce EDC IEM's have the 2-pin connector's! I've heard that the MMCX connector's can move around while you're trying to listen to music, and it can be quite a PITA. Is that a valid caveat, or just someone beating down the MMCX connector's for a personal reason?
Thanks for ANY info and suggestions, and I wish everyone a Happy Holiday😎👍🎙️🎧

FOBeanI have the PX, P2, and se215 and the mmcx has been solid as long as they snap into place. I prefer that they can rotate since it won't risk breaking when twisted.
